History

Korn-Klischee GmbH was founded in 1976 by Hans-Hasso Korn in Northeim, Lower Saxony. Hans-Hasso Korn was a painter and sculptor with an affinity for technology in general. After heading the printing-plate department of a large corrugated board manufacturer for many years, he took the step of becoming self-employed and founded Korn-Klischee in 1976.

From 2003 to 2012, Korn-Klischee GmbH was part of the Netherlands-based Rudico Holding. Since the relocation to Bovenden in 2009, flexographic printing plates have been manufactured there for all areas of packaging printing.

With the 2012 merger with U. Günther GmbH in Hamburg and Klischee-Anstalt Cl Jaehde GmbH in Berlin we are well prepared for the future.

The range of services at Korn-Klischee GmbH has been significantly expanded through the competencies and resources in the group of companies.

Due to the geographical proximity to various manufacturers and processing of paper, corrugated and solid board, there was an early specialization in the field of packaging printing.

With over 40 years of experience, we can call ourselves real experts and are now a prepress and plate production company with a focus on flexo packaging printing.

Order processing and production have developed into a digitally controlled process, which we are constantly working on further developing.

So that we can continue to meet every demand in the future, we are already looking ahead to tomorrow’s technologies today. With our eyes always open for new procedures and methods to improve our processes, we are preparing together for future work.
